Chocolate Orange Pinwheels
After an extended brake from cookieing I'm back, I don't doubt that you all missed me and my awesome stories about cookies that you can't eat cause they're mine =D Well I'm back and this time bring you another concoction containing that magical aphrodisiac called chocolate. Well really only dark chocolate works as an aphrodisiac but that's beside the point. This time i made chocolate orange pinwheels and they were... average if I could rate them. They have nothing on the coconut, banana or chocolate biscuits, the only actually GOOD biscuits that I've made but none the less I shall tell their story however short and uninteresting it may be. Weeeeeeell, as with the lemon biscuits I had an absolute ball obtaining the rind part of the recipe, using the grater to attack the orange skin, fortunately I needed less rind than for the lemon, very annoying but I got there in the end. The process it self wasn't at all difficult and I'm not sure i would've changed anything except as usual adding a lot more chocolate and maybe less flour. Just the orangy taste wasn't spectacular. Buuuut I'm not gonna know what I like unless I try absolutely everything. So that's pretty much the story of the chocolate orange pinwheels. Rating: average

Lemon Shells
Not much to say on these. They taste like crap, not making them again aaaaand I'm gonna skip the next thing in the book, Lemon Refrigerated Biscuits, cause, well, lemon just doesn't taste nice cooked.

Bananananana
The next batch of cookies on the list were the Banana Pecan Cookies. Cooked these a while ago but I've been lazy so eh. The recipe was obviously as i said for Banana Pecan Cookies however since I'm not the biggest fan of nuts i tuned them into Banana Cookies! In short I just didn't put the nuts in. So they turned out to be absolutely delicious. Rather soft and squishy due to the banananess and slightly browned. Very nommable and they did an awesome job of stinking up the kitchen with a cooked banana smell much to the detriment of my mother who for some strange reason isn't a fan of cooked banana. So yes, they were a success and this afternoon i shall be continuing with the next batch, LEMON SHELLS!

Double Chock Chip Sex Cookies
To start off on this wonderful journey i thought I'd go with the beginning, the beginning being the first recipe in the book, the first recipe in the book being Double Choc Chip Sex Cookies. It went as planned, some strange crap called muscovado sugar could not be found and was replaced with brown sugar, twas all good. They got an extra 5 minutes cause they were too soft and they definitely needed more chocolate drops. Obviously nothing to do with the fact that i had no idea how much bigger they'd get. The cookies quite literally melted in my mouth they were so good and it must be noted that it may be best to always eat them when warm, which may require more people present at the time but eh. So they were a success, I'm too lazy to write anything else. Until next time...
All hail the cookies
It has been decreed by a much higher power (metaphorically or whatever, not hight wise, I'm pretty tall...and powerful) that I should make delicious cookies. And so i shalt be posting the amazing stories of me sweet cookie making on this blog. It'll be awesome, mostly for me cause i get to taste them and for anyone who chooses to waste their time reading about how orgasmic they are.
